Assumption of risks
Please remember that you are staying on a working farm with live animals and potentially dangerous farm equipment and other hazards present. You must be aware that equipment provided to you eg wood burning stove, fire pit and barbecue can be dangerous if not used appropriately. Whilst we at Cheglinch Farm Glamping and at Cheglinch Farm take great care to keep you safe, accidents can happen and neither Cheglinch Farm Glamping or Cheglinch Farm are responsible for such accidents (to the greatest extent permitted by law). It is your responsibility to read the instructions for safe use of the equipment, to supervise children in your group at all times but especially around the wood burning stove, fire pit and barbecue when in use and to ensure that they do not leave the camping or glamping fields unaccompanied. It is essential that children are supervised in and around the car parking area of the glamping field at all times as tractors also have access to this area, and also supervised when playing in the stream in the glamping field. Guests are not allowed to enter any of the farm buildings adjacent to the glamping field unless the farmer is present and has given his permission. Guests are not allowed access to the farm on the opposite side of the road, Cheglinch Lane, unless the farmer is present and has given his permission. If you notice that any equipment looks faulty or unsafe you must inform us asap.

Farm Noises
We aim to offer you some of the sights, sounds and smells of the farm for you to enjoy during your stay. However, please be aware that you will be staying on a busy working farm and during the summer the tractors will, on occasions, be working late into the evening on our farm and our neighbours’ farms. As such you may be able to hear the noise from these at the glamping field. In addition, there may be times when the surrounding country lanes are extremely busy with farm traffic and care must be taken when driving on the roads at these times. We strongly advise against a country walk on the country lanes when they are busy with farm machinery for your own safety.
